A 'Blurred Lines' Grammy Cocktail Recipe
Michael Kraus

Having a Grammy viewing party? Then you need a specialty cocktail to do it up right.

We asked the mix masters of Beacher’s Madhouse at Las Vegas’s MGM Grand to whip up a drink inspired by Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” (up for the Record of the Year award), and they came up with this inspired gem.

The Blurred Lines
Makes 1 serving

1½ oz. vodka
¼ oz. coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
¼ oz. hazelnut liqueur (like Frangelico)
Ice
Soda water

Mix the first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker, then strain into a rocks glass. Add ice and finish off with soda water. No garnish needed. Now head to the dance floor!

Check out this cocktail and other sneak previews of this year’s Grammy Awards in the latest issue of PEOPLE, on stands now.

As someone who is a victim of rape, this song is repulsive. Every time I hear it come on the radio I have to change the station really quickly, because it starts to take me back to a very dark place that I have worked very hard to get away from.
It is all about rape, and how even if a girl says NO, what she really means is yes… this is total B******T. If a girl says NO, she means NO. That they would make a cocktail to ‘celebrate’ this disgusting piece of garbage is the lowest of low.

WTF on

I agree with the posting below. This is repulsive. Hollywood pretends to be such advocates of the granola variety chic support of women, but none of it is true. Just try reciting the lyrics of this song to yourself in the mirror. And Miley got all the flack for this……………………………WTF?
