IN A JAM

Grab a slice of this cheesy pizza and you’ll get the shock of your life — it’s actually a tart made with fresh strawberries, mascarpone and mint.

USING YOUR NOODLE

When is spaghetti not really spaghetti? When it’s frosting pushed through a pastry bag to form strands (you could also use a zip-top plastic bag), then it’s covered with fresh strawberry sauce subbing for marinara. And the meatballs? They’re chocolate no-bake cookies rolled into mounds. Mangia!

THE RAW TRUTH

This will crack you up: The broken eggshells are made from white chocolate and the yolks from lemon pudding.

SPUD-TACULAR

No need to worry about carbs when you toss back a few of these French fries since they’re made with apples, cinnamon and sugar and dipped into strawberry jam. Bonus points for using a crinkle cutter.

UNDERCOVER CUPCAKE

These carrot cupcakes topped with cream cheese-nut frosting are actually mini meatloaves with mashed potatoes sprinkled with chopped bacon. We’ll take a dozen!

CHANNEL SURFING

You’ll have sweet memories of TV dinners after a few bites of this meal, where the chicken is really cake rolled in corn flakes and the mashed potatoes is made from an iced cupcake. The clever baker subbed caramel sauce for the gravy and cubed bits of colored candies for the veggies. Even the table is edible—it’s a two-layer vanilla cake covered with frosting and fondant.

VEGGIE DELIGHT

Who would cover a luscious chocolate cake with asparagus? No one, which is why these spears and tips are made of green fondant.

SHRIMP COCKTAIL

A classic appetizer takes a crunchy turn when the shrimp are made from Rice Krispies Treats and wrapped in pink fondant. Strawberry preserves masquerade as tomato-based cocktail sauce that’s garnished with a candy lemon slice and chive fondant garnish.

KERNEL OF TRUTH

Don’t try munching on this popcorn at the movies unless you’re prepared to wipe up crumbs: The bucket is a yellow cupcake covered with a paper wrapper. The just-popped kernels? Mini marshmallows with a crisscross design and yellow food coloring “butter.”

AGED WELL

Cheese and crackers, anyone? Hope you like yours made with white and orange fruit chews (microwaved to get soft enough to mold) and sandwich cookies.

ANY WAY YOU SLICE IT

No need to wait for dessert to eat this strawberry pie — it’s really meat loaf (with barbecue sauce, molasses and unsweetened cocoa powder) topped with mashed potatoes colored pink by beets.

POUNDING AWAY

Look closely at the bread on this grilled cheese sandwich — it’s really sliced pound cake. The melted cheese doesn’t have an ounce of dairy but it’s got plenty of sugar since it’s really buttercream frosting with a few drops of yellow food coloring.

Buttercream frosting does, indeed, have dairy. It’s made with butter and milk! Oh, and apples do have quite a few carbs, as well as the strawberry jam you dip them in. But I’d still eat them ;-)

The Asparagus Cake is from Sweetapolita.com. I’m surprised you can get away with just crediting “Pinterest?”
