Continuing her reign as the actresss-most-qualified-to-moonlight-as-a-party-planner, Kaley Cuoco hosted yet another decadent bash at her home on Saturday: A baby shower spa luncheon for her makeup artist Jamie Greenberg.

In honor of the mom-to-be, guests were given white waffle robes personalized with tiny gold footprints (even Ruby, one of Cuoco’s two dogs, donned a coordinating white baby outfit for the day). The Big Bang Theory actress treated her crowd by arranging poolside massages and manicures, and partygoers also had the chance to decorate onesies and bibs for the new baby with fun sayings like “Mom, it’s laundry time.”

A little morning pampering…. #laurentatumevents #normancook #jamiemakeupgreenberg

Of course, all that pampering can certainly make one hungry, so Los Angeles caterer Meg Hall created a menu that combined spa-like offerings (quinoa with custom mix-ins and a raw juice bar) and more indulgent ones (liquid nitrogen ice cream and a candy station). There was also a platter of spreads like tapenade, hummus and artichoke-spinach dip (recipe below).

To complement the menu, Cuoco served both tequila and vodka cocktails as well as several creative mocktails, including a “Momtini” with limeade and coconut milk as well as an autumn-inspired “Apple of My Eye” drink — a blend of apple, ginger ale and lemon juice. (Love that she didn’t default to the usual juice-seltzer virgin drinks.)

We also applaud Cuoco’s decision to go big on the giraffe cake (shown in the top shot with Cuoco and her fellow party planner Christine Symonds). It was made by The Butter End‘s Kimberly Bailey, who also dreamed up the actress’s now-legendary upside-down wedding confection.

Judging from the below photo, Greenberg, who is planning to name her baby “Simon,” was pretty pleased with the party. “I am still in shock! This about sums up the day,” she wrote.

Channel your inner Cuoco and whip up her party’s dip for your own shindig — Hall shared the easy-to-master recipe with PEOPLE.

Kaley Cuoco’s Hot & Melty Spinach-Artichoke Dip
Makes 4 cups

1 10-oz. package frozen spinach
2 13 3/4 oz cans of artichoke hearts
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup cream cheese
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 cup freshly grated white cheddar cheese
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder

1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a casserole dish or a large cast-iron skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Defrost spinach in microwave and wring dry. Drain artichoke hearts and coarsely chop in a food processor.

3. Reserve enough cheese to sprinkle over the top of the casserole dish. Then mix all ingredients in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.

4. Put the mixture into the casserole dish, sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving in a hollowed-out sourdough loaf.

Now THAT is a great baby shower. Instead of games, personal massages for all! Let’s start a movement!

Think of all the starving children that could have been fed with the money spent on that shower

Our friends made liquid nitrogen ice cream before it became a trend! ;->

liquid nitrogen ice cream? What the fleck???

and quinoa, no matter the mix-ins, tastes HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

Luci Arnaz named her son Simon, after Neil. I hope this woman isn’t naming hers after Cowell!!!!

And the author of this piece misspelled “complement.”

that cake doesn’t look edible but it certainly does look interesting.

First of all I think that Kelly’s party is extremely thoughtful. IF I had that kind of money I would love to treat my friends to that kind of “over the top” party, too! She obviously feels blessed and is sharing her good fortune with those she feels close to.
To the person looking for a “girlfriend of color” …get over yourself. Skin color does NOT a friend make, just so you know.
Kudos to Kelly, Mommy and baby Simon!

Nice to see that she is so generous. So many people with money are not. I wish I had her money cause I would spoil my family and friends too!!!

@truthfinder……………just makin’ an observation

That was really sweet of her to throw such a party. For all the negative nancys, give me a break: people aren’t allowed to celebrate life events?

Seems like she really loves to spoil her friends and family. And good for her. She has the means to do it so why not! Incredibly thoughtful and not terribly overstated, unlike some other celebrities. Kudos to Kaley!

@carolynsplacewtby Think of all the money we all have, why don’t we just donate every penny and live off the land and out of cardboard boxes. I applaud Kaley for spoiling her friends and family. When you have the means to do so, what is the harm? I get so tired of people knocking others for spending a dime. Why not enjoy life when you can? No point in being bitter.

Wowzers! Not THAT’S my kind of baby shower!! How awesome are those cookies..and love the cake!

G on

Please. She probably paid someone to plan it. She is getting just as bad as Kim Kardashian. Always taking selfies and putting them out there. How much attention do these people need? Something is obviously missing in their life. Attention at home probably

To the person who said about all the money could have fed starving children…get over yourself….everyone deserves a baby shower so if you feel that way give up something of yours and donate. Leave your comments to yourself

what makes us think that she planned any of this and was only around to approve the total invoice?
