As she’s an avid lover of the great outdoors, Jamie Chung‘s bridal shower couldn’t have been more perfect for her.

The actress — who is engaged to actor-musician Bryan Greenberg — was treated by her best friends to a gorgeous garden-inspired event on Sunday, hosted by Wedding Paper Divas and celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss.

The theme was carried throughout the party with a flower-crown-making station, menus and place cards decorated with ivy details and plants and flowers hanging from the ceiling of the venue, Los Angeles restaurant Jon & Vinny’s.

Guests feasted on salad, cavatelli pesto pasta,  spaghetti bolognese and Chung’s favorite food: pizza! A burrata, tomato and basil version, as well as a ham, smoked mozzarella, and vodka sauce pizza, were served.

In addition to the dessert (an espresso tiramisu and a strawberry swirl cheesecake), the afternoon came to a sweet close when the PEOPLE StyleWatch Style Council member — in a floor-length dress by For Love and Lemons — was surprised with an appearance by her fiancé.

Greenberg—who popped the question back in January 2014—gave a touching speech and presented the bride-to-be with a bouquet of roses as a nod to her favorite show, The Bachelor.

As for their upcoming nuptials, Chung told PEOPLE they want to do it “somewhere in the woods.”

“We love working out. We love the outdoors. So we want to incorporate that – maybe make it a weekend and have all the guests go on a hike. Or there’s a crazy obstacle course at this one location,” she said. “It’s going to be a fun wedding.”

The bridal shower should be outdoors if she loves the outdoors. I planned my friend’s outside and it was awesome.

I love her fiancé as an actor, and she is just darling. Hope they have a long and happy life together.

Does anybody else realize this girl came from the Real World? I don’t see the talent in the least….

This interface generates visual and auditory feedback on an electronic device, wherein the human player reacts upon the images on the screen in order to achieve a certain on-screen goal or objective. The best part of Star Wars games is that they can easily be molded into different genres. There are plenty of real-time and turn-based strategy games, but few transpire in far-off galaxies and star systems.
