Camila Alves is coming to your kitchen. Well, sort of.

The lifestyle expert, mom-of-three, PEOPLE blogger and wife of Matthew McConaughey has launched Camila’s Code, a weekly online show that will air on mobile devices and desktops starting today, PEOPLE confirms exclusively. Focused on cooking and lifestyle, Alves will showcase “stress-free secrets” for everything from making minute recipes to creating kid-friendly crafting projects.

“This is going to be fun,” Alves said. “We are all so busy and constantly trying to save time and balance everything. I love finding ways to add a new twist to an old recipe or DIY project and while I’ve been sharing my tips and tricks with other moms and friends, I am excited that I can now share these with more people.”

Produced by Al Roker Entertainment’s new division RokerLabs, Camila’s Code will be the first celebrity live streamed interactive show. The videos, which will be about 15 to 20 minutes long, can be viewed via Alves Facebook page every Wednesday beginning Oct. 28th at 11 a.m. EST /10 a.m. CST.

“Who better to demonstrate quick recipes and crafts for kids than a busy working mom of three young kids,” said Al Roker. “And I bet she has some things you’ve never seen before.”

The Latest Craze in Disco Styles Is See-Through Jeans—but Beware of Foggy Bottoms

Posted on

On a clear day, you can see forever—or at least that’s the wicked thought behind L.A. designer Agi Berliner’s transparent idea: see-through jeans. Exhibitionists notwithstanding, most folks wear them over bathing suits or as attention-getting evening wear with halters, garter belts and body stockings. Created for the disco crowd, the $34 jeans are selling like, well, hot pants. In just six weeks, 25,000 pairs have already been sold in such major department store chains as Macy’s, Bonwit’s and Saks.

“What’s limiting American designers is that we’re afraid to do something different,” says Berliner, 32, a Hungarian émigré who fled with her family to the U.S. in 1956. Agi thought up the gimmick in London while marveling at the way plastics were being employed by designers of punk fashion. In her L.A. office, where she designs for La Parisienne junior sportswear, Agi spent five days on the phone and six weeks testing to come up with the right plastic.

Agi herself tried out the French-cut jeans with the zipper in front, and quickly found several problems: Some plastics tore away from stitching, others wouldn’t bend and all fogged with perspiration. The ideal material proved to be a vinyl supplied by a bookbinder. The steam was eliminated with a series of vents behind the knees and in the crotch. “They’re no hotter than polyester pants,” claims Agi, “and if you wear them with tights, they won’t stick to your legs.”

Whatever the discomfort and despite the problem of Saturday night feverishness, discomaniacs report one major advantage of the plastic pants: no laundry bills. To keep Berliner’s see-through jeans clear, all the wearer needs is a little Windex.

Her recipes are horrible and her decorating tips are all things she’s copied from Pinterest. Seriously, it’s ridiculus that just because she’s a celebrity wife, she’s considered a ” lifestyle expert”. She was on The Talk last year and it was obvious that no one like what she prepared. She made a molded rice salad that was featured on the back of a Minute Rice box during the 80’s. Not exactly inspiring.

I’m curious, which culinary school did she attend in order to become a Lifestyle expert? Or any school for that matter. She’s a working mom — what work does she do? I guess being married to Matthew McConaughey is a lot of work, as he got her this gig.

So she is basically making money off stolen recipes and crafts from the Internet. Look Camilla, without your actor husband, you would be a total nobody!!! She is a joke!

Oh, wow, talk about jealous. Girls, ain’t it awful: she’s gorgeous, she’s married to a rich, gorgeous talented man, she has gorgeous kids and if that weren’t bad enough, she’s got a kitchen to die for!

Eat your hearts out, “ladies”!

@Annie She’s definitely gorgeous, has a beautiful little family and home as well. Her recipes are still awful and her decorating tips are all from things readily found on Pinterest. People aren’t automatically jealous because they don’t think she’s a culinary and lifestyle star. People crap all over Gwyneth Paltrow, but at least her recipes are excellent and her decorating tips aren’t plainly regurgitated from the ideas of others. If she wasnt married to her handsome, talented, rich, movie star husband, she’d just be a very pretty woman who brings the least appealing dishes to a potluck. Have you ever tried her suggested recipes? They are tasteless and not original or inspired in any way. Sorry, but being gorgeous and married to a celebrity doesn’t make anyone a lifestyle expert or a good cook.

At least she is beautiful.

You are all HATERS!

I just want to compliment her on her English. She only learned it when she was an older teenager. I moved to France when I was 16, spent 10 years there and cannot speak French to save my life. Camila’s totally comfortable with American slang – amazing. Trying to understand French people speaking in slang is next to impossible and slang in English is just that difficult for non-native English speakers (and for Brits too). Bravo Camila!

@Jennifer, why do you bother watching then if you know she’s so useless? Personally, I don’t take fashion tips from Kim Kardashian so I don’t bother watching (or reading) about the Klan.
In any case, I was interested to discover Camila’s kitchen is bigger than most people’s houses. Her cocktails look great too. Would have been nice if Matthew had wandered on camera to taste her snacks (like Ina Garten’s husband Jeffrey). He’s a lot hotter than Jeffrey. That would have made my morning.

@Annie No human being is useless to me, ever and I woukd never seek the poor woman out on her Facebook page to insult her. This is a gossip magazine comment board, not her personal page. I’ve seen her in segments on other shows and her recipes are in the Sandra Lee category, but not as good. Semi-homemade and like I said, a rice salad mold from a recipe that was literally on an instant rice box and a macaroni dish that was basically hamburger helper with carrots and honey in it. Same with the decorating tips like go buy a store bought cake and put flowers on top of it. Everyone wants to be a lifestyle guru these days. The market is saturated to put it mildly. I’m not her target audience anyway. I’ve been to cooking schools in other countries, as part of my vacations and find that I actually learn from people like Ina Garten. I love a good kitchen and think a lot of people would love to see Matthew in the kitchen with her. He’s apparently a whiz at the bbq, so maybe he could have his own segment.

@cds….She’s doesn’t work. The only reason people know who she is because who she’s married too. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a cook or a nanny that cooks for her family. She’s a joke!

Interaction and information are enhanced with the use of accompanying sounds, and lately, also with the use of vibrations. From the space sim X-wing to the innovative RTS Empire at War, there was always something new for every Star Wars fan. However, it is possible to get your hands on some real PC games for free.
