VIDEO: Flip or Flop‘s Tarek and Christina El Moussa Take You Inside Their Blinged-Out Home

12/21/2015 at 10:56 AM ET

Tarek and Christina El Moussa flip homes for hopeful buyers on their HGTV series Flip or Flop but when it comes to their California abode, the couple’s style is all their own.

“I’m obsessed with black, white and silver,” Christina tells PEOPLE. “It’s kind of the theme we have going throughout the entire house with a little bit of bling.”

But Tarek is quick to point out that he was the mastermind behind one of their favorite features in the house: the wine fridge.

“This was my idea,” he says of the stainless steel and glass piece. And the best part? “It separates white and champagne from red,” adds Christina. “I’m a big champagne lover so it’s easily accessible.”

While the new parents have been busy at home since welcoming their son Brayden James in August, they still find time to socialize at home.

“We entertain a lot,” says Christina. “Every Sunday we have our family over and have barbecues and we swim.”

But the room that gets used the most in the El Moussa household is by far the movie theatre.

“Our daughter hangs out on here all the time,” she says of their 5-year-old Taylor. “We have movie nights.”

With a name like that they must be Muslim. Uh oh. Scary Muslims on HGTV, America!

I love them! They are a true inspiration in many ways.

Lovely down-to-Earth family. Lovely show.

They gross me out with their materialism and overall shallow personalities.

for a couple that b *tches about losing money every entire show, this is pretty over the top tacky. can you say guide 2.0??

Love this show! it’s so much fun to see what they do with such horrible homes! She has always reminded me of Tyra from Friday Night Lights. 🙂

sorry – GUDICE 2.0

How do they keep a house like that clean with children? High-end furniture and white everything with a five year old? No thank you. Not to mention the kids safety? Hardly kid friendly.

No thanks. I wouldn’t watch this for the same reason I won’t watch Flip or Flop; her guttural, Valley Girl vocal fry voice and obnoxious resting female dog face.

I hate these two spoiled brats. Give me Joanna and Chip!

This is my favorite of all shows. They are a beautiful family. Their remodels are really awesome when they’re done.

I dislike the name they picked for their son. Brayden sounds like a mule braying in the wind. Its become way too popular and its really horrible. As for the show…they need to take it up a notch. Its way too repetitive. They keep designing all the homes they pick up in the same fashion. Its past boring already.

Beautiful house and beautiful family. Thank you for sharing!🙂

She looks so different from when the show first aired. Too much plastic surgery.

I like them, but her voice is a bit annoying and they do use the same color and style choices in a lot of their homes. I guess because they are appealing to buyers rather than renovating for specific individuals who want to put their own mark on the home. In that way, it makes sense.

There are some nasty comments out there. This couple has overcome financial hardship and were living in his parents renovated garage. They have battled through infertility, miscarriages and recently cancer as well. I am happy for their success and new baby boy, good for them.

Dear negative morons: if you would know anything about this couple you could spare the rest of us from your ignorance. Firstly, he is originally from Egypt, he came here and worked his but off since he was a very young man. He later got cancer. He and his wife sold all of their posessions in ’08 when the recession hit. They even split living expenses with a room mate until they discovered flipping houses. They have worked hard for everything they have.Christina is not spoiled she is ahard working wife and mother so you can shut your mouths. Plus, the show is not repetitive.although it may seem like that to a blind loser that doesnt pay attention to details.thanks to these people and this show Im going to flip houses and I have learned so much from them. Im happy for their success and I wish them the best! The American dream is still alive!
