Here’s Your Guide to Ringing in the New Year Like a Celebrity

If this is the year you’re hoping to skip the house party and pop champagne like—or even with—the stars, we’ve got you covered. From indulging in a decadent multi-course meal (lobster and caviar, anyone?) to getting your groove on at the hottest club, these are some perfect places to ring in 2016 like the A-listers.
Dress to the nines and tuck into a tasting menu at one of these star-studded restaurants:
Since its opening in 2013, Hinoki & The Bird has consistently drawn in stars like Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley. On New Year’s Eve, the L.A. restaurant will be serving a Buenos Aires-themed menu featuring items like forest mushroom empanadas, carbonada pumpkin stew and coconut macaroons for dessert.
Hoping for an extra romantic night? STK LA has recently brought in power couples like Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The chic steakhouse will be serving a 4-course menu that will include a little bit of everything: oysters, caviar, sea bass and of course, steak.
Don’t have a special someone? Not a problem. Just grab your best girlfriends and treat yourself at New York City’s upscale Mexican restaurant Cosme—Adele, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone had the ultimate girls’ night here. They’ll be serving a “greatest hits” menu which features dishes like uni tostada, crispy octopus and duck carnitas.
And after polishing off your meal, it’s time to head to the after party!
Created by Rande Gerber, Skybar at The Mondrian Los Angeles is taking its guests back in time with live cabaret shows throughout the night for its Suite’16 bash. Famous for its sweeping views of L.A., Skybar is Hollywood’s go-to for a fun night out: Josh Brolin was spotted having a boys’ night with pals Bradley Cooper, Benicio Del Toro and Michael Fassbender shortly after his split with Diane Lane. Brian Malarkey’s new restaurant Ivory also opens its doors at the hotel on the same night.
If Beauty & Essex is good enough for Katie Holmes, it’s definitely good enough for us! The star recently celebrated her 37th birthday at the N.Y.C. hotspot, which is throwing a Gatsby-themed ball complete with a “live visual show” to ring in the new year.
It wouldn’t be New Year’s Eve without some major action in Sin City. If you’ve been hoping to reach the next level with Nick Jonas, he’ll be hosting a bash at Foxtail. Can’t get enough of the Kardashians? Scott Disick’s hunkering down at 1Oak. For those hoping to dance the night away, Fetty Wap will be performing at Marquee (Bruno Mars is expected to make an appearance), Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are set for Drai’s, J. Cole is hosting at Light and Diplo is playing at Surrender. Wondering where Taylor Swift will be? Our fingers are crossed for a Vegas sighting: her boyfriend Calvin Harris is spinning at Omnia.
