Want to Dance with TLC’s Chilli (and Burn Serious Calories)? Now You Can!

There’s nothing chill about Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas’ approach to fitness – you’ll rarely see her miss a workout!
“I think people should work out every single day,” the singer, 44, tells PEOPLE. “A day that you have a ‘day off,’ you can do something light like yoga, that’s a good stretch and cool down. I try to work out every day.”
“I do all of the Beachbody [workouts],” says Chilli. “It’s fun to me because I don’t like to go to the gym.”
After being a fan of the Beachbody workouts for years, the TLC member partnered with the at-home fitness and nutrition brand and trainer Shaun T for their new CIZE dance exercise program – available online – and created the song “Body” especially to go along with the workout.
“I was really happy to be a part of this,” she says. “The track has encouraging words, like, ‘Anything you want, anything you need, you gotta work for it,’ which is true. So you have those lyrics going on in your head, and you’re just enjoying the beat and doing the dance – it will just make you push yourself.”
And don’t worry if you’re not as talented of a dancer as Chilli (because most of us are not) – people of all levels can do her workout.
“It’s not about making people feel intimidated, because if they feel like that, they’re not going to do it,” she says. “It’s fun and it’s pretty easy. By the time you get to the end you feel comfortable with it, and you just kind of get into it.”
