Khloé Kardashian Throws Kicks and Punches in New Boxing Workout Video
The first move Kardashian demonstrates is a lunge step-up on a slack line. While alternating weights, the Kocktails with Khloé host keeps one leg balanced on the line, while pulling the knee of her opposite leg up.
If you don’t have a slack line (and who does?) you can still try the move at home.
“Find a step, and the key is to make it unstable, so maybe put a folded up towel on it, and that will create a degree of instability,” says Kardashian’s trainer Gunnar Peterson.
Do eight to 15 reps on each side to tone up your lower body and core.
Next, Kardashian practices punching and kicking a pad.
“You want to think about the basic four [boxing moves]: jab – your range finder, cross, hook – you can hook with either side, and upper cut,” says Peterson. “Keep the arms tight to the body [and then] extend.”
Don’t have any pads to hit?

“You can duct tape a big pillow to a wall just to make contact, or if you have gloves, you can tap something and make contact just so your body gets used to that feeling,” says Peterson.
To make the exercises more challenging, add more movement and footwork.
