Talk about #friendshipgoals!
On Monday, Tony Bennett took to Instagram to wish his friend and singing partner Lady Gaga a happy 30th birthday — but this was no ordinary greeting. The legendary performer enlisted the help of Duff Goldman‘s Charm City Cakes to whip up a very special order for the star.
Knowing that the “‘Til It Happens To You” singer is an avid dog lover and serves as mom to two pups, Koji and Asia, Bennett had a life-size cake version of her pets made, and it is seriously adorable.
Gifting elaborate birthday cakes seems to be an ongoing theme in their frendship: Last year, Gaga planned an onstage cake delivery for Bennett during the pair’s Cheek to Cheek album tour — complete with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” after presenting the five-tier masterpiece for his 89th birthday.
Though they may like an unlikely duo, Bennett and Gaga hit it off right from the start. “We were fast friends — friends ever since [our first meeting],” Gaga previously told PEOPLE, adding that the pair came together to record their album after the jazz singer heard the pop star sing “Orange Colored Sky” by Nat King Cole.
Oh, to be a part of their squad.
